Victor LaValle is one of the premier American literary writers working across genres today. His most recent novel, a tale of domestic horror, The Changeling, was cited on numerous 2017 "best of the year" lists by publications including Time, USA Today, Buzzfeed and NPR; it was one of the New York Times "notable books." LaValle is the author of two novellas, a short story collection and four novels. Two of his books are currently in development for television for FX and AMC. He is an Associate Professor in the Creative Writing MFA Program at Columbia University.
