Renowned Huangmei Opera singer Xiaofang Chen leads over twenty artists in a performance of "The Fairy Couple" and other Huangmei Opera classical pieces.

Ms. Xiaofang Chen, one of the most famous Huangmei Opera artists, made her debut three decades ago by acting as the youngest fairy maiden in the legendary Huangmei Opera “The Heavenly Maid and The Mortal.” Since then she has been recognized as “The Successor of Fengying Yan,” the greatest pioneer in Huangmei Opera). Besides her achievements in Huangmei Opera, Ms. Chen has also appeared in more than ten movies and TV series, in which she played leading roles.

Ms. Chen established Xiaofang Huangmei Arts Academy in 2015, a platform in North America that specializes in Huangmei Opera integrated with Qipao arts. From 2015 to 2017, Ms. Chen directed and choreographed numerous performances; under her leadership, her troupe was invited to perform at the NYU Moon Festival, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, United Nations Chinese New Year Gala, and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, New York City.
